Do's and Taboos Around The World

I owned the original version of this book, but wanted a newer one to share with the local Rotary. They were extremely interested in my topic and discussion that some wanted to own the book for themselves. (So I gave it away). Additionally, they found the hints and essential information important to working with diverse employees. I recommend this book and it's companions to all employers and those traveling.

It teaches manners and politeness in all cultures. Be prepared to order it again and again, because everyone you lend it to will want to keep it, including teenagers !

May keep you out of trouble...A cute read. Wish it had a current edition. Many countries are represented. A great gift for language teachers.

I am a Spanish teacher and this is great to expose my students to proper do's and don'ts in different countries.

It will be helpful when I travel to other countries. I will need to know how to act when visiting dignitaries.

Intelligent

Very limited book and I thought out-of-date. The Culture Shock series is much better.

The book was in good shape just as advertised, and I received it in a timely manner.With the demographics changing in America, it's no longer just good enough to understand different cultures in our travels, but right here at home. As we continue to see more immigrants from all over the world coming to our country we must understand their customs and communication style to be effective business people and friends.

Livre qui recense ce qu'il faire et surtout ne pas faire (ou éviter de faire) en fonction de la culture de la personne avec laquelle on essayede communiquer. Livre en anglais, donc il est recommandé de maîtriser cette langue pour en profiter.
