Duck (Shake & Play Bath Books) Bath Book – February 1, 2013

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this for my 6 mo old granddaughter because she loves a similar Fisher Price one that I picked up at a local thrift store. They are great because they can put them in their mouth, chew on them, play with them in the water and best of all they are washable/wipeable for cleaning after she's done with them. While this is cute and colorful I am afraid that it may not last long only because the handle is pretty flimsy and my tear easily. Time will tell..***UPDATE*** It's been about a month now since my review and I have to say that my fear of this little tubby book tearing easily has not happened. One thing I love is that it is very soft and flexible so it's very easy on her mouth and gums. I think I am going to order a few more!

Adorable! It's never too early to get little ones interested in books. If bathtime is fun, and books are involved, then books must be fun too!

A great first book for a nine month old. The handle makes it easy for the baby to grasp the book. Easy to wipe clean or wash under the faucet. Vibrant colors keep the baby's interest.

My 8mo old son absolutely loves this book and it it great not just for bathtime but for all the time!

This was a real page turner! I couldn't put it down!Its soft, it floats, and my baby likes to suck the dirty bath water off it.Perfect!

Baby enjoys playing with this toy more than balls, water squirts, etc...

Cute, but small and a short book. I like that it's squishy and it rattles.

Baby loves it. Easily wipes clean when drooled upon. Rattles when shaken. I might have preferred a page that squeaks or crinkles for more sound.

Nice little baby book with soft plastic my son loves to chew. Nice bright pictures which is great for the bath

Habe das Büchlein vor einiger Zeit für meine Enkelin gekauft, die jetzt acht Monate alt ist. Sie liebt es sehr und es muss überall hin mitgenommen werden. Sie kann es inzwischen auch mit ihrer kleinen Hand selbst halten, dem seitlichen Griff sei Dank. Dass das Buch bei Bewegung rasselt, findet sie toll und mit besonderem Interesse schaut sie, warum auch immer, den Wasserkäfer an.Mein jüngster Enkel ist erst drei Monate alt und ich muss mit dem Shake & Bath Book noch ein wenig warten. Aber er bekommt auf alle Fälle auch eins. Mal sehen, ob ich mich für den Fisch oder die Schildkröte entscheide.Klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits!

We love these during bath time! The rattle is very slight though and you can almost not hear it over the splashing, but it makes for something fun for the baby to see. Pretty pictures. Great build quality. Mine has held up to rough use over a couple of months.

The edges and the linings are quite sharp and it is unsafe for babies to play with. I would not recommend this product if your child is in a teething age as they put everything in their mouth.

Our son loved it, but I think the plot development was lack lustre at best. The character arcs also predictable. “Dragonfly”... I saw that coming a mile away.I did like that it floated, I now have something to read in the bath tub with out the constant terror or ruining expensive literature.
