Good for a free book
A little bit basic but still worth the price. (Cause it's free. Get it?) Good illustrations and clear concise instructions.

You'll need more yarn than the pattern on the front of the calls for.
The pattern on the front of the book calls for 0ne skein of TeeShirt yarn. Not true. I've started the purse and am not even half way through. Have had to order more.

Belated project
Like the patterns,but when I went to get the T-shirt yarn, I found that most places don't sell it anymore. I know one can cut up old T-shirts, but that is a lot of work. Guess this is just one example of being behind the times.

This book has a lot of really great projects to make. I need to gain more experience before making the items I purchased it for. Wish the author would have included additional pictures/explanations for those of us needing a little more information.

The patterns are nice and easy and beginner friendly
I was not thrilled with this book as I thought it would have you make your own yarn with old tee shirts and knit fabric. Also there is no information about the yarn used or the yardage needed to complete the project. The author really missed that point. The patterns are nice and easy and beginner friendly.

Don't be fooled into thinking this is how to reuse old t-shirts
Don't be fooled by the name. I thought this was a book about recycling old t-shirts into yarn and the projects to make with it. But no! They are all made with a commercial yarn that come ready packaged "made from old shirts" called There are 7knit and 17 crochet. Some of them are as basic as a plain scarf. There are a few interesting ones such as the ottoman covers and slippers. I think if you were a beginner crocheter this wood be good for you because these are quick projects.

Such a pity I couldn't read the instructions even with glasses couldn't find a way to increase the font size on my kindle/android so basically have wasted my money on.this
