Quality piece
MOLLE style pouch with strap; hard plastic hardware; seems substantial enough

Thought the pockets were larger
Pockets looked larger in the picture to me. But over all it seems like a solid piece for the money and fits my canteen with cup, stove, and lid perfectly.

shoulder carry
I like this canteen case because I can carry it with a shoulder strap. I never liked carrying a canteen on a utility belt because the weight of the canteen with the added weight of the water makes for an extremely uncomfortable hike. Additionally, I like that the canteen pouch is slightly oversized. I can easily remove the canteen which also includes a portable stove and steel cup as an assembly. I threw away the "Pathfinder School" pouch that came with the canteen. It was junk. This is made well and will hold up to abuse.

Great
Large enough to have a nalgeen nest in a canteen cup and still fit. Great pouch.

Thoughtful design, but misses the mark
What I like, it's larger than USGI pouch it's modeled after, and they've added a strap. What I don't care for is that the lining is noisy, and I was a little disappointed in the separate pouch for the lid.The big miss for me is the lining, it's only sewn at the edges making it loose through the middle of the fabric. And I understand, it’s not just a canteen pouch, it doubles as a utility pouch, and stitching through to support the fabric would add to the cost and open the potential for leaks. The nylon used for the lining is also crinkly. For camping and hiking it's not an issue. I wouldn't use this pouch for hunting or anything more serious.I think the price is right. It's in line with a new pouch and it's a bargain compared to what surplus pouches sell for on Amazon. But I think if you can find a like new surplus pouch for 5-6 dollars that would be a better bargain.I've included pictures comparing this pouch to a USGI Molle pouch. As other reviews have mentioned, this pouch is larger. I've also included pictures of the pouch loaded down with a Rothco Canteen cup and lid along with a Nalgene Oasis bottle. The first picture shows the lid in the bottom of the pouch as I normally carry it, and the second picture shows the lid in the designed pouch. Placing the lid in the pouch does allow the lid to be cinched down tighter. But with the lid in the front pouch, it does poke a little at the fabric on the front. Because of the larger size the pouch lid fits better over the top of the assembled kit than the USGI model does. On the USGI version with the Nalgene bottle, I have to push the lid into the back of the pouch and just use the strap. But with this pouch, I can use the lid to cover the canteen. Also, a USGI canteen with a shorter neck than the Nalgene fits even better inside either pouch.

Seems very solid
I was happily surprised to open this and find it seems to be of very high quality. Stitching looks solid, fabric looks like it's going to hold up for years, the clips are very nice, and flipping the cover over to my very happy surprise, since I was planning on shoulder strapping this item while hiking, the super well made molle attachments! The side pouches are easily large enough for some drink mixes or purification tablet bottles...or (haven't verified this yet...but you can bet I'm gonna try) my sawyer mini. Definitely going to be advising my friend that hikes/ camps with me to pick one up!

Perfect fit
Arriving far ahead of the expected delivery date, the Canteen cover by Jolmo Lander exceeded all my expectations. Roomy, sleek, and military-eque, the cover perfectly accommodates a standard USGI canteen with an interior sleeve for lid storage and side pouches for tinder, fuel, water purification tablets, what have you . I am very happy with the stitching and molle straps, appearing to be the mil-spec sizing. The colour is fairly well represented by the advertised images. I chose the coyote brown. I have already ordered the canteen stove also by Jolmo Lander and I expect it will nestle snugly over the canteen cup and fit within the cover (as per the design). Again, I highly recommended for those that want a pouch that will hold their canteen cook set together on the trails or at base camp to get the one by this seller.
