TAOtTAO 8x Strong Transparent Suction Cup Sucker Wall Hooks Hanger For Kitchen Bathroom

Advertised and sold as suction cup hooks, after I unsuccessfully tried to stick one to a wall tile, then the bathroom mirror, my wife peeled off the clear backing film to reveal that they are actually sticky back hooks.To be fair, they are well made, and the only ones I have seen where the hook is on a hinge, so could be used under a glass shelf with the hook at 90 degrees, as well as on a wall. Being sticky backed, will they stick to anything or not ?However, a suction cup can be removed and re used umpteen times, if it would be at all possible to peel one of these off and successfully apply it somewhere else I do not know, I haven't tried, but I have my doubts.If you are looking for a cheap single use hook these could be for you.I may have it wrong, the actual description for them is as clear as mud, but clearly states they are suction cup when they are not. Maybe the seller could use some advice on how to describe their product.

My initial test was just to hand a couple of small photo frames weighing less than one Kilo. One hook failed to work and the frame fell to the ground and broke the frame but not the glass. some days later when I looked at the other hook it had started to peel away from the wall. They may suit a temporary solution or a very lightweight object but I am not going to put my faith in the alleged properties.

I have tested these as I did some others that said they took the same weight but these were by far the best of them they took the weight of 15kg and is still holding now 2 weeks later so pleased to find one that does as stated

Great little hooks, have used just two at the moment, in the bathroom to hang face cloths up. Love that the square sticky part is transparent so all you see is the little silver colour hook. Just what I was looking for.

First of all, be sure to get your position on the surface right BEFORE sticking the square back onto the surface because it DOES stick hard & fast!

Very sturdy would highly recommend, I use them to hang tea towels on the inside of my kitchen doors

Really strong. Plus clear so easy to hide so they look so tidy.

Not quite as strong as I had expected (and certainly wouldn't recommend you try to support yourself, like in the picture ...!). I expected them to be suction cups as advertised but unfortunately they were self-adhesive, which isn't ideal for what I wanted.
