FilterFresh Whole Home Tropical Bay Air Freshener

I got Ocean Mist. Because I have a 2400 Sq. Ft. Home, I ordered one for each filter in my house. At first it was incredibly strong but definitely great smelling. Then I realized it was strong because I was handling it. Yes, it's a tiny paper thing and can be slightly tedious as other comments have mentioned, but in my opinion, it really wasn't that bad. I have 3 dogs and bought the product a little over a week ago. I thought maybe the smell was gone, but after dropping my son off at school this morning, I walked in and could definitely smell the fresh scent. I did order 3 more to place next to the other ones, but only because I want a stronger scent and my house is incredibly big. I will be purchasing this more often for sure. With three dogs in the house, this helps avoid the fear of my house smelling like dog.

I have never purchased on of these before (in case Amazon is lumping things together, it's a WEB FilterFresh Whole Home Air Freshener, for your air handler/furnace), but I was familiar with them because I used to sell them at a retailer I worked at. I have been having problems with odor in my house, so I thought I would give one a try. I found this particular scent, Ocean Mist, and it was priced on Amazon for only .40 cents! What a great price in order to try the product out! When I got it, there is a date on the outside, which was 4 months ago, and it doesn't say if it's an expiration date or a manufacture date, but if it's an expiration date, that would explain why it was marked down.When I got it, I thought it stuck to the bottom of the filter in the air handler with a double sided tape or something, but it turns out, it actually dangles from a supplied "S" hook.One side of it has a VERY cheap and brittle pressed paper board backing, which you have to punch out slots that allow for air flow. It was hard to get out, and came off in small pieces, which was a pain in the neck, pulling at these little pieces of the paper. After getting them off, I hung it from the bottom of my filter, and that is when I discovered that with my particular air handler, I couldn't attach it and then put it in the air handler, because my filter slides in at the bottom of my air handler very tightly, and there is no space for it to "dangle" when putting the filter in. So in order to put in on, I had to go in through my air return, which fortunately, in my situation, it is large and easy to reach in, after taking out all the screws.So on to the scent. In my opinion, this scent STUNK. I removed it and hopefully the smell will dissipate soon, because it stinks, in my opinion! It does have a "scratch and sniff" thing on the front of the package, but that doesn't help me when I'm ordering it through Amazon.So, I rated this 3 stars based on the fact that it is made with the cheap paper backing that easily tears into pieces when it is being removed, the difficulty I had, in my situation, with installing it, and the fact that it smells so bad. I would consider buying this product again in a different scent, buy I would be hesitant, since I disliked this scent so much.This was Made in the U.S.A. .

There’s something so satisfying about a powerful aroma coming from your AC unit. My first experience was at a relative house. I immediately searched for this product. Directions are a little evasive. I got down the first time. My second time I wasn’t so lucky. Scent lasts about two weeks.

It does smell good, but the smell didn't last very long, or maybe I am just used to it since I work from home.. unsure to be completely honest. My husband wouldn't notice the difference to ask him lol

The scent was strong upon opening the pouch. It was easy to install with the enclosed metal clip. The scent lasted about 1 week. Perhaps it would last longer in a small space like a closet or vehicle.

I purchased this air freshener to stick on my filter in my new furnace. Unfortunately, once I attached the air freshener to the filter, the filter would no longer fit in the slot for the filter. I was afraid it would get stuck inside of the fan, so I did not use it. I did, however, attach it to the outside of the furnace where the air pulls in. The scent is so strong that it pulled in just enough scent to make it noticeable but not enough to make your eyes water. Originally I had tried to put the filter inside with the air freshener on it , within a few minutes I was practically choking it was too strong plus the fear of it getting stuck inside of my furnace. So I pulled it out again I put it on the outside of the vent that pulls air in. My entire basement smells like vanilla. Which is better than what it smelled like before I had purchased other scents, but I don’t think I will need to change this for a while.

Not a fan of the smell. Smells like a a bad car freshner

I could sense the smell for a couple of hours, but other members couldn't even feel the difference. Waste of money.

Lasted 2 days. Totally disappointed.

Simple to install. It takes about 1 minute. The first time the circulation fan came on, the entire house smelled like fresh linen. What a great invention. I've already ordered another for when this one fades. I understand the claims of it not lasting long because it is super strong on day one. It drops of pretty quick to a light freshness. I can still smell it 3 weeks later. I is in a smoke free, pet free, kid free home so there are no other smells to compete with.

The Good:- Good scentThe Not So Good:- Short lifeThis is meant for a house Furness filter, however, I used this in my trucks cabin air filter. This lasted about two to three weeks with a decent scent in my truck so I am not sure how this would fare in a house. The pad is pretty small.Thanks for reading! The Tropical Bay air freshener has a nice smell. Very easy to install and gives off a fresh scent that fills the whole house. The smell does not last that long maybe a day or two but really most air fresheners don't really last. This item is best for a whole home blast of scent, say if you have guests coming over for a bit or if your trying to sell a house and you want to give a nice scent to impress others. I would not spend a lot on this type of air freshener but for $2 or $3 every so often it gives a nice change.
