Amazing Fightpad, Best I Have Used In Years
Very comfortable to hold and responsive inputs, never find myself struggling to pull off a Shoryuken like do with poor D-Pads. I have always preferred to use Saturn Pads in fighting games but this is even better in my opinion. It is more comfortable, the smaller buttons are easier to press and not so rounded on top and the bumper buttons feel great. Then the bonus of it connecting as a proper xbox controller via bluetooth so works with all my MUGEN games and Launchbox build without having to reconfigure anything. Has an easy to use turbo button assigner great for old shooters etc.One downfall i experienced however was using this controller with 8BitDo's wireless brick dongle v2 the black one. I had nothing but disconnects, left and right triggers assigning themselves to Right Bumper and Right Trigger, but the main problem is the d-pad, left stick and right stick switch. On this controller you hold the select button up down left or right to assign the dpad as left stick / right stick etc. When this is done whilst connected to the V2 dongle it assigns every button wrong and acts very strange. Now i think this issues will be patched later as the firmware for the v2 dongle is still only on 1.0 so in the meantime i recommend connecting these via bluetooth as everything works as it should that way.I will always buy my controllers form 8BitDo in the future.

Flawless controller!
I bought this purely to play Sega games with, but it's actually a very good all rounder for a lot of games once configured within your chosen app!I use it with emulators to mainly play Mega Drive and Master System games with. The feel of it, even down to the button pushes, just seems authentic in a way that using other controllers couldn't achieve. It connected super fast to my Android tablet, and now connects automatically every time I turn it on. There doesn't seem to be any delay at all, and even games like Sonic feel as good as playing with a wired controller. Battery life is incredible too. I use it quite often and find myself only needing to charge it every week or two.Absolutely well worth the money. Feels solid and like something Sega would put their name on!

Perfect controller remake
Been a fan of 8bitdo for awhile, this might be their best 2D controller.Build quality is really nice, Dpad is great. The Z and C buttons on Switch are the 2nd triggers which works well. You can swap A/B X/Y layout in Switch mode which I'd recommend. You can also change how the Dpad acts, is it a Dpad, Left analogue or Right analogue. Depending on the game this is really useful, Smash Ultimate for example.Manual explains these update your firmwareI use 8BitDo's stuff on Windows / Android a lot as well, normally with RetroArch and never had an issue, it's very easy to switch between the modes once everything's been paired and you know the button combos.Never noticed an issue with latency. No complaints at all might be my new favourite 2D controller ever. Does it all.

Amazing 8bitdo controller
I bought this for my sega megadrive along with the 8bitdo wireless dongle and it works great. It's comfortable to use and easy to setup. Definitely a good replacement for the original megadrive controller.

Nostalgia in a cheap and sturdy package
I missed out on the Sega Megadrive/Genesis when I was a kid, but I do remember playing at my friend's houses, and this controller invokes that nostalgia everytime I pick it up to play classic retro games on PC emulators or tabs. Honestly really easy to set up and play - bluetooth, very sturdy and at least for me, very comfortable.I don't use the shoulder buttons to play Sonic the Hedgehog or Contra, but I do use them when playing some Dreamcast games on the PC - to which their own I suppose. The d-pad is just as you would imagine it to be. For £25 this is a bargain.Whenever I take long flights, I carry my pad with me, and it's really hard to play those retro games on the touch screen, but with this I'm sorted. I know I'm biased as I love SEGA but if you're buying this for nostalgia, this is definitely not just £25, this is an investment for the future! Thoroughly recommend!

Pretty good gaming pad for retro Sega games
First of all, the description on Amazon is wrong. It states that it has rumble and motion controls but that is not accurate. On the manufacturer’s website this is not stipulated and this model does not have rumble and motion controls. When I contacted the seller (Choices Top) to tell them about the issue, they first asked me to contact them via WhatsApp (which as far as I’m aware, violates Amazon’s TOD) and when I refused, they asked me to contact Amazon instead. That is a very poor attitude and customer service on their part, in my opinion. Now about the pad:Light, well made, had no trouble connecting it to the switch and the lag seems minimal if any. The button layout on the Switch it’s good as it is but you can change it in the settings if you want to (Switch settings). It’s best for retro Sega games that use that button layout. The D-pad seems pretty good, maybe a bit soft and slightly loose but no problems so far with accuracy. As far as I know, you can replace the rubber connectors with Sega’s original ones which should make it firmer. All in all, I think it’s a great product for what it is, and I definitely recommend it for Sega games.
