Well made, great and requires no setup at all. It also looks pretty nice and with reasonable price. This memory card reader seems to have a number of ports to fit SD cards of various sizes and formats. I've used it with two or three different cards without a problem much faster than my old USB 2.0 reader, so i am satisfied with that.I recommend this product, as it's small, simple and easy to use. and save time to downloading or transferring files, as it's small, simple and easy to use.

It connects and detects automatically via USB and has really fast transfer speeds which is the biggest advantage of this. It can also do multiple cards at a time for file transfers. The housing is solid metal. It’s a little more than I wanted to pay, but got a solid fast adapter that works well which is why I would recommend if you have multiple cards that need transfers.

The cord is a bit stiff.

I was a little worried after reading some reviews about the slot being "too wide" for compact flash cards, this causing easily bent pins inside the device. The slot is not too wide but is very shallow, so just be a bit careful about inserting the card straight into the slot. The compact flash card will only go in one way, there are grooves on each side of the compact flash - one wide and one narrow. Look in the slot and you'll see which way, and the card should insert easily. No problem! The device is very small and very light. About the outside dimensions of a credit card and a little less than the thickness of a CD case. It comes with a very good quality USB 3.0 cable, but it's only about 18" long - not including the ends. No software installation is required for any Windows OS version above Windows 98 or "MAC OS 8.6.9 or above".

This thing is quick, easy to use. Computer recognizes it right away. Some drives show up as some kind of Chinese script, like in Lightroom for example. That doesn’t trip me up tho. The casing feels quality and it has a little blue light when plugged in. Only used with standard SD cards so I can’t speak to the effectiveness of reading others, but I definitely feel I got my money’s worth and it’s a great tool that will last me.

I am using this product right now, and it is a good product. I just returned a Vivitar chip reader for $10 to a local store because it would only connect intermittently to my laptop. Either the product was defective or the design was poor (it was designed like an old USB drive; it stuck far out of the USB port and I think the center of gravity may have caused the reader to break connection with the USB port.) This drive comes with a USB plug and cord which prevents this center of gravity issue. This corded design also allows you to move the chip reader away from any other obstructions sticking out of your laptop that might interfere with the chip reader (other USB ports with cords attached, power cords, etc.) Overall, I'm very happy with this product.

I didn't realize that my old CF card reader was bad until I used a friend's USB3.0 reader and saw how much faster it was. The reader works easily, has a high-quality cord to attach it to your computer, and meets all expectations. My only grips is that the CF card slot is not very deep, and it seems like it might be possible to bend the pins in there if you insert the card at a slightly-off angle. Other than that, a worthy upgrade from what I had before.
